You know what struck me first about this place? The name actually delivers – it really is beautifully boho, and that sea view of Los Gigantes is absolutely worth writing home about. I mean, when you’re standing on that little balcony looking out at those massive cliffs rising straight up from the ocean, it’s honestly one of those moments where you just stop scrolling through your phone and actually take it in. The apartment sits right on Calle la Hondura, which is this quiet residential street that most tourists never stumble across – you’re literally a two-minute walk from the main Puerto de Santiago action, but it feels like you’ve found some secret local spot.

The whole vibe inside is exactly what you’d expect from somewhere calling itself “boho” – lots of natural textures, some really thoughtful artwork on the walls, and furniture that actually looks like someone chose it carefully rather than ordering it in bulk from a hotel supply catalog. I loved that they didn’t go overboard with the theme, you know? It’s got character without feeling like a Instagram prop house. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped too (I actually cooked a few meals there), and there’s this little dining nook where you can have your morning coffee while watching the fishing boats head out. Honestly, the Wi-Fi was solid throughout, which matters more than people admit when you’re trying to work remotely or upload those sunset photos that everyone’s going to be jealous of.

Here’s the thing about the location that really won me over – you’re close enough to walk to those decent restaurants along the waterfront, but far enough up the hill that you don’t get the late-night party noise that can make other places in Puerto de Santiago a bit much during peak season. The walk down to the harbor takes maybe five minutes, and there’s actually a little shortcut through some steps that the locals use (ask the host about it). Parking can be a bit tricky on the narrow street, but there’s usually space if you’re not too picky about walking an extra block or two. The 7.9 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but it delivers exactly what it promises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Plus, being able to watch the sunset paint those cliffs every evening from your own balcony? That’s the kind of thing that makes you seriously consider extending your stay.

  What could be improved: 1. The owner didn’t even introduce themselves, kept check in details secret pretty much till last moment (which is pretty crazy), wasn’t reachable by phone and wasn’t very responsive
  2. Self check-in is a mess. The location the owner sent us didn’t correspond with the actual location of the place, so we needed to walk for about 20 mins to figure out where is that place really. Once we found it we realized that you need to wait in front of the entrance door and wait until someone comes out so you’re able to enter and collect the keys! The owner suggested to ring random doorbells and ask them to open that entrance door, though the problem was that the door bell’s touch screen was broken and it actually didn’t work! This whole checkin experience was just incredibly weird
  3. Hard to find free parking place. There’s payed parking though, just next door pretty much

  4. The hotel nearby is really loud between 7 and 11pm. Loud music and such

  What could be improved: That there was an information that property has a tumble dryer, but it didn’t work well. It should not be in the list, because of after two cycles of drying, clothes came out wet, and we spent all the morning trying to dry our stuff with iron, but it didn’t succeed well. We were very disappointed. Also didn’t like that living room didn’t have dark curtains.

  spacious apartment in a residential block. Good location in walking distance to bars and restaurants. apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony looking out onto the pool.
  
  What could be improved: This is a self check in property and so in order to enter the main building initially you have to wait for someone to come either in or out of the building (doesn’t seem to have a security desk to contact). I was unlucky and had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to let me in.
