You know what? When I first saw “Beautiful villa with stunning view” I honestly thought it was just another generic property name – but walking up to this place on Calle Camino de la Suerte Arriba, I actually got it. The view really is something else. You’re up in the hills above Adeje, and on a clear morning (which, let’s be real, is most mornings here), you can see straight across to La Gomera floating on the horizon. The whole southern coast of Tenerife spreads out below you like a postcard, except you’re actually living in it.

The villa itself has that relaxed Canarian charm – it’s not trying too hard to be fancy, which I appreciate. Three stars feels about right, though honestly the location punches way above its weight. The owner clearly knows what they’re doing because all the little details are sorted. There’s proper parking (trust me, this matters when you’re navigating these winding mountain roads), and the terrace is positioned to catch both the morning sun and those incredible sunsets. I mean, you’re literally watching the sun drop into the Atlantic most evenings. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward fumbling around with keys or complicated instructions.

What really sold me on this place is how it sits in the landscape. You’re only about fifteen minutes from the coast and all the tourist action in Playa de las Américas, but up here it’s genuinely peaceful. The only sounds are birds in the morning and maybe the occasional car winding up the hill. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’ve discovered something special without being completely cut off from civilization. The local bus route actually runs pretty regularly if you don’t want to drive everywhere, and there’s a little supermarket about ten minutes walk down the hill that stocks all the basics plus some surprisingly good local wine. The whole area has this authentic Canarian feel – you’ll see locals tending their small plots of land and the occasional goat wandering around, which somehow adds to the charm rather than feeling chaotic. That 8.6 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not a luxury resort, it delivers exactly what it promises and then some.

  Super ligging en genoeg ruimte . mooi zwembad, en terras.

  What could be improved: De accommodatie (huis) was vuil en slecht onderhouden. kasten binnen heel vuil en overal stofnetten in het hele huis.
  Alles is oud en versleten, enkel de keuken is relatief nieuw alsook de matrassen zijn ok.
  Het kan oud zijn wat zijn charmes heeft maar netheid oud of nieuw is een must !
  Eventueel foto's beschikbaar vd toestand.
  Elektriciteit installatie is ronduit gevaarlijk zeker voor kinderen.
  Spijtig, is zo'n mooie locatie'…..
