Look, I’ll be straight with you about Beautiful Apartment on Calle los Falcones – it’s one of those places that grows on you the longer you stay. When I first pulled up to this Palm-mar address, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name (I mean, “Beautiful Apartment” sounds like someone ran out of creative juice), but the location actually makes perfect sense once you’re there. You’re tucked into this quieter residential street that most tourists never find, which means you can actually sleep past 7 AM without construction noise or tour groups chattering outside your window.

The thing about Palm-mar that locals know – and what makes this spot work so well – is that you’re close enough to everything without being in the thick of it. I could walk to the marina area in maybe ten minutes, and there’s this little supermarket just two blocks down where the owner, Miguel, will tell you exactly which local wines are worth buying and which ones are tourist traps. The apartment itself sits on the first floor (piano 1, as they say), so you don’t have to haul luggage up endless stairs, but you’re still elevated enough to catch some decent views if you lean out the right window. Honestly, the 4-star rating feels about right – it’s got everything you need without trying too hard to impress you with unnecessary fancy stuff.

What I really appreciated was how the space felt like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The kitchen had proper cookware (not just a sad hot plate), and the bathroom had enough shelf space for all your stuff without playing Tetris with toiletries. The Wi-Fi worked consistently, which – let’s be real – can be hit or miss in some Spanish coastal areas. Now, the 7.6 rating tells you something important: it’s solid without being perfect. You might notice the shower pressure isn’t amazing, and the air conditioning unit makes this little humming sound that takes a night to get used to. But you know what? Those are the kind of minor quirks that come with staying somewhere authentic instead of a cookie-cutter chain hotel. If you’re looking for a place where you can settle in, explore Palm-mar at your own pace, and maybe chat with Miguel about his wine recommendations, this works really well. Just don’t expect marble countertops and a concierge – that’s not what you’re paying for here.

  The apartament has everything a family of 4 needs for their stay in Tenerife. There is a lovely little ocean view and the pool is excellent.

  We stayed with 2 kids, flat was perfect for us and safe for crawling baby. Property was clean, we were cooking meals a few times and found enough pans, etc. We enjoyed a lot the complex with swimming pool, it was very quiet and secure within the territory.
  Nice terrace that feels bigger than on the photos. Single room is quite small but OK.
  Communication via WhatsApp was very good and quick.
  Would stay again here.

  Relatively quiet place, no major issues to find parking spots, very close to the 'recreational area' behind Palm-Mar (worth exploring on foot!), very close to TFS airport (15' by car).
  
  What could be improved: There were a few annoying technical defects (e.g. balcony window not closing well, front door a little hard to close, one of the electric outlets in the bedroom did not function well, etc). Nothing major but some maintenance would be of help.
  2nd bedroom (small one) was very small and a little strange as a sleeping place next to the washing machine, located in a kind of a wardrobe more than a room.

  Value for money. Simple two bedroom apartment. Hot water was great. Winter sunshine on the balcony all day.
  
  What could be improved: Previous guests didn’t fully clean all the utensils and plates, but that is not the hosts issue.

  The location is great. The settlement is quite quiet and yet offers the necessary facilities, such as a shop, restaurants, playgrounds, a promenade by the sea, and a swimming pool. We had a separate room for a child that she liked very much and a nice balcony where we had breakfast every day and could enjoy the evenings.
  
  In all the other tourist places, there was much more noise, traffic and people, so we were very satisfied.
  
  Communication with our hostess Laura was excellent. We received answers to all questions very quickly. She is extremely warm and approachable.

  The location was good. Communication from the host was good.
  
  What could be improved: We were concerned that there was no smoke alarm in the property. The front left hob did not seem to be working, the mirror in the bathroom is very badly oxidised and looks a mess.
  The balcony door was extremely difficult to operate… the locks were confusing, the centre lock is broken and the door does not slide properly.
  The front door handle fell off while we were there but we managed to fix it.
  There are exposed sockets in the bedroom and lounge which was very concerning and the small bedroom window could not be locked shut posing a security risk.
  The toilet does not flush properly due to lack of water pressure. This was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating.
  There were only two large plates and no normal knives in the kitchen (only serrated steak knives) and the rest of the cutlery and crockery was extremely random and not entirely clean.
  The double bed in the main bedroom has barely any room to walk past and we both hurt our knees on it.
  The balcony chairs look like they could break at any moment. We were wary of sitting in them.
  We note that many of these things have already been reported by many previous guests, yet sadly not addressed nor rectified by the host.

  Appartamento molto bello, pulito e ben servito. Zona molto residenziale e tranquilla, ma con la macchina ci si sposta facilmente verso zone con la movida.
