Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Tenerife, and this little spot on Calle Jilguero honestly surprised me. When you first pull up to the building – and yeah, there’s actually decent parking which is a minor miracle in Palm-mar – it doesn’t look like much from the outside. Just another apartment complex, you know? But that 9 rating isn’t lying.

The thing about this place is it gets the basics really, really right. The pool area is where you’ll probably spend most of your time anyway, and it’s got this nice quiet vibe because, well, it’s not some massive resort with kids running around at 7 AM (though I mean, nothing wrong with that if that’s your scene). The apartment itself is pretty spacious – I was actually able to spread out my stuff without playing Tetris with my suitcase. The kitchen’s functional too, which matters because eating out every meal in Palm-mar adds up fast, and honestly, the local Mercadona down the street has everything you need for decent breakfasts and quick dinners.

What really sold me on this place though is the location. You’re about a 10-minute walk to the beach – not the tiny strip right in Palm-mar center, but the nicer stretch where the locals actually go. The walk takes you past some of those typical Canarian houses with the colorful shutters, and there’s this little bakery on the way that does incredible pastries if you’re up early enough. The area gets busy during peak season (July and August are pretty intense), but in the shoulder months it’s perfect. You can actually hear the waves at night when the windows are open, which is something you don’t always get even in “beachfront” places. The only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in the bedroom, but honestly, you’re in the Canary Islands, so maybe that’s not the worst problem to have. The whole setup just feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental, and after dealing with those cookie-cutter hotel rooms that all look the same, that’s refreshing.

  Nice and clean apartment with everything you might need during your vacation. Beds are comfy, there is an underground parking, swimming pool.. had a great time there- would recommend to everyone 😊

  Everything that was in the apartment description was available.
  Cozy apartment with underground garage. I liked the wall decorations with different patterns, the floating shelf with books and DIY. arts from coastside things, the unlimited TV channels & services, the balcony with garden furniture . There was no need to buy any detergents or cleaning products.
