Hotel Description
You know what? Atlantic View is one of those places that completely caught me off guard. I mean, when you see “3-star hotel” you’re not exactly expecting much, but honestly – this place punches way above its weight class. The location on Calle Baleares is actually perfect if you know Adeje at all. You’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos but still close enough to everything that matters.
The first thing that hits you is how quiet it is, especially considering you’re in the heart of Adeje. I stayed there in July (yeah, peak season madness) and still managed to get decent sleep most nights. The staff – and I’m not just saying this – they actually seem to care about what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprise fees, and the guy at reception gave me genuinely useful tips about avoiding the crowds at Siam Park. Speaking of which, you can literally walk there in about 15 minutes, which saved me a fortune on taxis.
The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works. The air conditioning is solid (crucial in Tenerife summers), and the Wi-Fi actually functions properly – which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given at this price point. What really sold me though was the breakfast situation. It’s not some elaborate buffet, but the coffee is proper Spanish coffee, and they do this simple tomato toast thing that I ended up craving every morning. The view from some rooms – well, you can see why they called it Atlantic View. On clear days you can spot La Gomera in the distance, and the sunsets are honestly ridiculous.
Here’s the thing about staying here: you’re right in the sweet spot where locals actually live and work. There’s this little bakery about three blocks down that opens at 6 AM – perfect for grabbing pastries before hitting the hiking trails. And if you walk five minutes toward the coast, you’ll find restaurants where you won’t pay tourist prices for decent food. The hotel itself doesn’t have a pool or anything flashy, but Costa Adeje beach is literally a 10-minute walk away, so why would you need one?
Parking can be a bit tricky – the street parking fills up fast, especially during peak season. But there’s a public lot about two blocks away that’s pretty reasonable. The only real downside I noticed was that the walls are a bit thin, so if you get stuck next to a family with young kids, you’ll know about it. But honestly, for the price point and that location, I’d absolutely stay there again. It’s got that rare combination of being genuinely comfortable without trying too hard to impress you.

What could be improved: the hillsGreat stay. Nice and clean apartment in quiet area. – Sophia from Denmark – 25 May 2023 (9/10)
Great location. Would not stay during the summer since there isn't aircondition. Highly recommend booking Mr. Roberto to pick up at the airport and hand over the keys since he's very friendly and serviceminded.
What could be improved: Softer pillows.Looking to come back – Ernestas from Lithuania – 28 February 2023 (10/10)
Very friendly host and beautifut interior.
What could be improved: Bed is a bit hard.Definitely worth recommending – Dariusz from Ireland – 26 February 2023 (10/10)
Very nice, clean and modern apartment with a large terrace. In February, the sun on the terrace from 12.00 to late evening. Literally a few steps ( same floor ) from the pool where the sun rises earlier. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood. If someone likes nightlife – a taxi costs 5 euros one way. Unless you have a non-drinking driver :-)))) Very nice and helpful owner.
What could be improved: 1. Location may not suit everyone. It depends on what you are looking for on holiday.
2. Sometimes it can be a problem to park close to the entrance – but a few extra meters of walking won't hurt anyone :-))))Exceptional – Gillian from United Kingdom – 8 February 2023 (10/10)
The apartment is large and very comfortable. It has everything you need if you want a quiet location and some peace and quiet in a home away from home. The pool area was very clean and peaceful. The balcony is very well furnished with amazing views across Costa Adeje and the mountains.
We would definately stay here again.
What could be improved: There wasn't anything we didn't like. The apartment is at the top of a hill and takes about 20 to 25 minutes to walk to the centre of Costa Adeje and beaches. It wasn't a problem for us as we enjoy walking however taxis are only 5 euros back up the hill.Loved the apartment – Susan from United Kingdom – 24 October 2022 (10/10)
Excellent apartment very comfortable and quiet location fully fitted kitchen home from home
What could be improved: Location a very steep walk down and back up to the front taxis 5 euros each wayGreat location, fantastic view – Kathy from United Kingdom – 28 January 2025 (9/10)
Great location, fantastic large terrace, great for eating Al fresco, and soaking up the afternoon sun. Apartment is nice and spacious, comfortable bed, comfortable sofa and dining chairs, all amenities were to hand. Excellent.
What could be improved: The sun loungers could do with replacing/updrading, as you sink into them rather than lay on them, they seemed very old And they smelt very foisted,. We did not use them.Good – Sarah from Ireland – 4 January 2023 (7/10)
Lovely spacious clean apartment. Amazing view from the large terrace. People who run it very helpful
What could be improved: It was fairly far up a steep hill and about 30 minutes walk from beachPleasant – vlad-ion from Romania – 29 December 2024 (6/10)
It was a nice place with a lovely view on the terrace. Very spacious and clean and we arrived. And if you think that will be hard to get up the hill, you can always rent electric scooters it really helps. The owner is very prompt, we asked for some spare towels and bedding and she got them for us.
What could be improved: The couch was not that sturdy, the extended part was shaking. After a day we started to see small ants on the kitchen counter, so we couldn't leave even bagged food becase they were getting in. And also some big kitchen bugs. Upstairs neighbours very noisy
