You know what struck me first about this place? The moment you step off the elevator on Calle Imeldo Serís, you’re not dealing with some cramped city apartment pretending to be luxurious. This is actually a proper penthouse loft, and that terrace – honestly, it’s massive. I mean, most Santa Cruz rentals give you a tiny balcony where you can barely fit a chair, but this one? You could host a dinner party out there.

The location is pretty brilliant if you know the city at all. Calle Imeldo Serís runs parallel to the main drag, so you’re close enough to walk to Plaza de España in about eight minutes (I timed it), but far enough from the tourist chaos that you’re not hearing street performers at midnight. The building itself is one of those restored mid-century ones – you’ll recognize the style if you’ve wandered around this part of Santa Cruz before. What I really appreciated was the parking situation, because let’s be honest, that’s usually a nightmare in this area. The host sorted that out, which saved me from circling blocks like a vulture.

Inside, it’s got that industrial-chic thing going on without being cold or sterile. The ceilings are high enough that you actually feel like you’re in a loft, not just a regular apartment with exposed brick slapped on the walls. The kitchen is properly equipped too – I made breakfast most mornings instead of hunting for decent coffee nearby (though there’s a solid local café about two blocks down toward the port if you prefer). The terrace though, that’s where you’ll spend most of your time. It faces west, so the afternoon light is gorgeous, and you get these glimpses of the harbor between the buildings. During the winter months, you can actually sit out there comfortably most days – something you can’t say about a lot of places in the Canaries despite what the brochures tell you.

The whole experience feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice place than staying in a typical rental. Check-in was smooth, the host clearly knows what they’re doing, and the little touches – proper linens, decent shower pressure, reliable WiFi – suggest someone who actually understands what travelers need. I’d definitely come back, especially if I was planning a longer stay in Santa Cruz. It’s one of those places where you can properly settle in rather than just crash between sightseeing.

  Estuvimos 3 amigos alojados para los carnavales de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, una maravilla de Ático con una terraza muy grande y todo perfecto, con una ubicación excelente, cerca del Puerto y de todo centro de Santa Cruz.
  Agradecer a su propietaria que en todo momento estuvo pendiente de que no nos faltará de nada.
  Sin duda repetiría Año próximo.

  Apartamento amplio, muy confortable y funcional. Fantástica terraza. Buena calidad de WIFI. Electrodomésticos de primeras marcas y con todo tipo accesorios de cocina. Muy bien ubicado, justo al inicio de la zona peatonal y muy próximo al Mercado de Nuestra Señora de África (imprescindible)
  Nuria nos atendió de maravilla dándonos todo tipo de facilidades para el check-in/out.
  Ah! y la terraza trasera tiene sorpresa!!
