Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Arco Iris on the sea? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – and honestly, that’s rarer than you’d think with these Spanish coast hotels. It’s tucked away on La Tosca, which is this quiet little street that most tourists never find because they’re all hunting for beachfront properties. But here’s the thing – you’re still crazy close to the water, just without the chaos and inflated prices of the main drag.

The pool area is where this place really shines, I mean genuinely shines. It’s not huge or Instagram-perfect, but it catches the afternoon sun just right, and there’s something about the way they’ve positioned the loungers that makes you feel like you’ve got your own little slice of Tenerife. The staff clearly know what they’re doing too – check-in was surprisingly smooth for a 3-star place, and the guy at reception actually gave me useful local tips instead of just handing over a generic tourist map. Parking can be a bit tricky on La Tosca itself (the street’s pretty narrow), but there’s usually space within a block or two if you’re willing to walk a minute.

What really won me over, though, was how the place feels during different parts of the day. Mornings are peaceful – you can hear the ocean but not the tourist crowds yet. Evenings get lively but not rowdy, which is perfect if you want to relax without feeling like you’re stuck in a retirement home. The rooms are honestly what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – clean, comfortable beds, decent shower pressure, and that slightly dated but charming Mediterranean vibe. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about either. The whole place just works, you know? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to actually enjoy a vacation instead of worrying about whether your hotel lives up to its photos.

  The size of the apartment and big terrace
  Fully equipped with everything we needed
  Beach/pool towels
  Hairdryer/iron
  2 sunbeds and
  Plenty of wardrobe space with lots of hangers
  TV fridge freezer hob oven washing machine microwave kettle and coffee maker
  Perfect
  Bus service to las americas is a 5 min walk away and takes 15 minutes
  So that is also perfect
  
  What could be improved: The stairs up and down from the terrace are a tad horrendous and up and down to the bedrooms and bathroom
  So not for someone with less mobility
  Could of done with cleaning behind things as its a tad dusty, but I cleaned so no problem

  Good sized rooms and clean. Lots of facilities there. Good local restaurants especially Nebula.
  
  What could be improved: Set out on 3 floors, trying to get a 23kg suitcase down to the bedroom was difficult and the staircases require full concentration when using them.

  Clean and very spacious apartment. Terrace with absolutely stunning view. Well equipped kitchen. Good location, 3 minutes walk to the beach. Los Americas is about 1 hour ride by bus from the apartment. With a taxi it takes 15 minutes and costs around 20 Eur.
  
  What could be improved: Lack of air conditioner. There was a fan that could have resolved the problem, but it was so loud that it was impossible to sleep with it on. The apartment could really use some modern quiet fan. It was also quite loud outside at night, so it wasn't an option to open the window.

  Чудова квартира, обладнана всім необхідним для комфортного перебування. До океану, магазинів та ресторанів 5 хвилин пішки. З тераси відкривається дивовижний вид на острів Гомера.
  У квартирі є все необхідне: посуд, пральна машина, праска, телевізор, фен та інше. У доступі паркінг та басейн.
  Єдине, що для літніх людей або людей з обмеженими можливостями буде дещо складно підійматись/спускатися сходами, але й на фото видно, що сходи досить круті, це треба враховувати обираючи даний варіант.
  Ключі від апартаментів зручно забирати та здавати в аеропорті.
  
  What could be improved: Єдиний недолік, трохи довго шукали вхід до комплексу та потрібний будинок. Але це не вплинуло на загальне враження від перебування.

  Wszystko! Bardzo czysty i komfortowy apartament z dużym tarasem. Wyposażony we wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy. Świetna lokalizacja. Bardzo dobry kontakt gospodarzami obiektu.

• Appartamento in posizione incredibile – Saveria from Italy – 22 January 2024 (9/10)

  Un bellissimo appartamento, con una vista mozzafiato e situato in un gioiellino di complesso residenziale in una bellissima frazione di Adeje, piena di locali ma allo stesso tempo tranquilla. Ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo.
  Parcheggio comodo sia in garage che in strada, terrazza incredibile su cui stare ore e ore ad ammirare l'oceano e appartamento dotato di tutto il necessario.
  
  What could be improved: Abbiamo avuto un po' di difficoltà a trovare l'appartamento: dato che il complesso è molto grande ed è quasi un labirinto, forse sarebbero necessarie istruzioni ancora più dettagliate.
  Altro piccolissimo problema: eravamo in 3 persone ma alcune cose, come ad esempio i teli doccia, erano solo due.

  What could be improved: De keuken was niet goed ingericht: als je wou koken moest je zelf veel basisdingen aanschaffen zoals peper en zout, olie, … . Er waren zelfs geen schoteldoeken en afwasmiddel aanwezig. Er was een wasmachine aanwezig maar geen wasmiddel. Het is toch niet de bedoeling dat je alles zelf aankoopt en daarna laat staan of weggooit?
  We hebben ook tweemaal last gehad van ongedierte in de living van het appartement.
