So I’ve stayed at Appartamento Corallo a few times now, and honestly, it’s become my go-to spot in Costa Del Silencio – which, if you haven’t been, is this wonderfully quiet corner of Tenerife that most tourists completely miss. The building sits right on Calle Olimpia, and you know what struck me the first time? How genuinely peaceful it is here. I mean, the name literally translates to “Coast of Silence,” but you don’t really get it until you’re sitting on that little balcony in the evening, hearing nothing but the Atlantic rolling in below.

The apartment itself is proper spacious – none of that cramped hotel room nonsense where you’re bumping into furniture every five minutes. The kitchen actually works (revolutionary concept, I know), and I’ve made everything from quick breakfasts to full dinners without wanting to throw anything out the window. The living area has this lived-in feel that’s way more comfortable than those sterile hotel lobbies, and the bedroom gets these amazing cross-breezes if you open the right windows. Small thing, but the shower has decent water pressure – trust me, after a day exploring the volcanic landscapes around here, that matters. The building’s got character too, sort of that Spanish residential vibe where you feel like you’re actually living somewhere rather than just passing through.

What really sells me on this place is the location – it’s perfectly positioned between the more touristy areas without being stuck in the middle of all that chaos. You’re about a ten-minute walk down to the rocky coastline where locals actually swim (the water’s surprisingly clear), and there’s this little cluster of restaurants along the coastal path that serve proper Canarian food, not the international menu stuff. The bus connections are actually reliable here – the 416 line runs regularly if you want to head into Los Cristianos or Playa de las Américas for the day, but honestly, some of my best evenings have been just wandering around Costa Del Silencio itself. There’s something about the pace here that just works. The apartment’s got that solid 4-star comfort level without any pretension, and that 8.6 rating? Yeah, that tracks. It’s the kind of place where everything just… works. The WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the neighbors aren’t having parties until 3am, and you can actually get a good night’s sleep. I keep coming back because it feels like having a proper base in Tenerife rather than just a place to crash between activities.

  Everything perfect and as expected. The hosts were super nice on arrival and explained everything necessary. The apartment itself is perfect for 3-4 persons with a fully equipped kitchen and a nice balcony. The double bed was really big and comfy. The pool is nice to cool down and the location in my opinion was great to take off to explore the whole island by car. The area itself also isn't too touristy which I appreciated and there are some good restaurants just downstairs. 10/10 and highly recommended, especially for that price!!

  Nice location, pool in the backyard. 2 bedrooms and large living room. Nearby there are bars and a store. Parking was not a problem either. The owner is hospitable. It was a pleasure to stay there.
