Apartment Seaside sits tucked away on a quiet residential street in Los Realejos, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. When I first pulled up to Calle las Palmeras 30, I was struck by how peaceful everything felt — you’re close enough to hear the ocean but far enough from the tourist crowds that you can actually relax. The building itself has that clean, modern apartment-style setup that works perfectly if you want more space than a typical hotel room offers.

Los Realejos is one of those places that locals know about but doesn’t get overrun with tour buses, which is honestly refreshing. You’re positioned perfectly between Puerto de la Cruz (about 10 minutes away) and the stunning coastline that stretches toward Icod de los Vinos. I mean, couples consistently rate this location highly for good reason — there’s something romantic about being able to walk to authentic Canarian restaurants without fighting through crowds of day-trippers. The free parking situation is actually a huge deal here since finding a spot near the coast in Tenerife can be a real headache.

The Apartment Experience

What I love about Apartment Seaside is that it gives you that home-away-from-home feeling without sacrificing the four-star comfort level. The apartments are spacious — you’ve got a proper kitchen if you want to cook with local ingredients from the markets, plus living areas where you can actually spread out. The seaside views (hence the name) are genuinely lovely, especially in the evening when the light hits the water just right. You know what’s nice? Having a balcony where you can have your morning coffee while planning your day without feeling rushed to check out of your room.

Why This Area Works

The thing about staying in Los Realejos versus the busier resort areas is that you get to experience a more authentic side of Tenerife. There are family-run restaurants within walking distance where the menu isn’t translated into six languages, and you can actually have conversations with locals who aren’t trying to sell you excursions. The coastal access is fantastic — you can reach some beautiful swimming spots that aren’t packed with sunbeds and beach bars. Plus, if you do want the resort experience, Puerto de la Cruz is close enough for day trips but you get to retreat to somewhere quieter at night.

Recent guests consistently give this place top marks (the location scores a 9.3, which is pretty impressive), and after staying here, I get it. It’s that sweet spot where you have independence and space, but you’re still getting quality accommodations and service. The fact that parking is included and free removes one of those travel stress points that can really add up, both financially and mentally. Couples especially seem to appreciate the romantic setting — there’s something about having your own apartment-style space with ocean views that feels more intimate than a standard hotel setup.

  Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung hat von der Küche und dem Wohnzimmer einen sensationellen Blick auf das Meer. Sie liegt sehr ruhig in einem schönen Wohngebiet. Es ist alles sehr sauber und die Ausstattung der Wohnung insbesondere der Küche ist perfekt. Zum Strand Playa del Socorro fährt man etwa 10 Minuten. Man ist auch schnell auf der Autobahn und kann so die Insel erkundet werden. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, an den wir uns gerne erinnern werden.

  Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch. Schöner großer Balkon und Wohnzimmer mit klasse Aussicht auf den Ozean. Gute Ausstattung und schön sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

  Die Lage ist fantastisch, schon der Zugang zu der Anlage sieht nach Urlaub aus. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt, alles sehr sauber und neu. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist großartig, der Wohnraum gemütlich, wir haben uns Rundrum wohlgefühlt!

  Die Unterkunft entspricht 100 % den Bildern auf Booking. Es ist alles da was man benötigt und es ist auch in einem voll funktionsfähigen Zustand! Die Unterkunft haben wir absolut sauber vorgefunden. Lange vor der Ankunft haben wir umfassende Informationen und zusätzliche Bilder von der Eigentümerin erhalten. Auch auf Sonderwünschen ( frühere Anreise) wurden schnell und flexibel reagiert. Die persönliche Betreuung vor Ort ist sehr gut.

  Apartamentul are o priveliște deosebita spre ocean, este amplasat într-o zonă foarte liniștită, saltelele de la paturi sunt foarte bune, una dintre bai  este foarte spațioasă. Bucătăria este dotată cu absolut tot își poate dori cineva. Proprietarii sunt foarte ospitalieri, au fost flexibili cu noi la chek in ( ne-au așteptat peste programul de intrare). Apartamentul chiar își merită nota 10.

  Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet und ließ bei uns keine Wünsche offen. Auf den beiden Terrassen genießt man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf das Meer und die Umgebung und bekommt Sonne pur. Wer es etwas schattiger möchte,
  findet im angrenzenden Garten einen Platz unter einem Baum. Die Stadt Puerto de la Cruz befindet sich nicht weit entfernt, ein Supermarkt (Lidl) ist auch in der näheren Umgebung vorhanden. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr nett, bei Fragen ist Sie immer schnell erreichbar. Man braucht auch keine Fremdsprachenkenntnisse, alle sprechen Deutsch.
