Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Montanita? The name makes it sound like some basic vacation rental, but honestly, this place has more personality than half the fancy resorts I’ve stayed at. It’s tucked right on Calle la Montañita – and I mean literally on it, not hidden down some confusing side street where you’re wandering around with your luggage wondering if you took a wrong turn somewhere.

The thing about Arona is that it’s got this perfect sweet spot vibe going on. You’re close enough to all the southern Tenerife action (Los Cristianos is basically next door), but you’re not dealing with the tourist circus every time you step outside. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there – or at least decorated it like a real person would. The rooms are solid, nothing fancy but everything works, and the beds are actually comfortable, which honestly can’t be said for every 3-star place I’ve crashed at. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but once evening hits, it’s peaceful enough that you can actually sleep with the windows open if you want that ocean breeze.

The location is where this place really shines, though. Walk five minutes in any direction and you’ll hit something useful – there’s a little supermarket that locals actually shop at (not one of those overpriced tourist traps), and the bus connections are legit if you want to explore without renting a car. I mean, parking around here can be a bit of a puzzle anyway, so having good transit options is clutch. The whole area has this lived-in feel that I really dig – you’ll see Spanish families out walking in the evenings, kids playing in the small plazas, that kind of authentic neighborhood energy that makes you feel like you’re experiencing actual Canary Island life instead of just another vacation bubble. Is it going to blow your mind with luxury? Nah, but for the price point and the genuine local experience, it’s exactly what you want if you’re looking for a real base to explore from rather than just a place to crash between beach days.

  Прекрасный апарт! Отличная поддержка по телефону и встреча! Весьма гостеприимно. Очень чисто и уютно. И очень недорого. Дружелюбный хозяин оставил мне свой телефон на будущее.
  
  What could be improved: Хотелось бы разве что приветственную бутылку воды, так как мы прилетели поздно и не успели купить.

  El apartamento es limpio, bastante cómodo y agradable en comparación con el precio.
  
  What could be improved: La nevera solo enfría. No congela, el personal de limpieza, o a quien se le entrega las llaves al salir, llegó diciéndonos que nos fuéramos que ya eran las 10. Poco amable y nada cortés, 0 empatía con los inquilinos. Jamás volvería allí. No lo recomiendo para nada. Ya que la estancia en general fue buena. Pero al momento de salir con esa clase de personas que tratan mal a sus inquilinos dañan las vacaciones de cualquiera.
