The kitchenettes are properly equipped, which means you can hit up the local market and make yourself a decent breakfast without paying resort prices. I mean, the coffee shops in Las Galletas are great, but when you’re staying for more than a few days, having that option matters. The balconies face different directions depending on which room you get, but honestly, even the ones without ocean views give you a nice slice of local life – watching the neighbors hang laundry and hearing the morning bustle from the street below. There’s something oddly comforting about that. The Wi-Fi actually works (I know, revolutionary for a 3-star place), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, which I genuinely appreciated during those warm August nights.

Here’s the thing about Las Galletas that nobody really talks about – it’s got this perfect balance of being close enough to everything without being in the middle of the madness. You’re maybe twenty minutes from the airport, which is clutch when you’re dealing with those early morning flights, and the coastal walk toward Playa de los Cristianos is absolutely gorgeous if you’re into that sort of thing. The marina right there has some solid restaurants, and the whole area feels lived-in rather than manufactured for tourists. Parking around the apartments isn’t too brutal either, which anyone who’s driven around Tenerife will tell you is actually a big deal. I’d definitely come back here – it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
