Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Apartamentos El Beril when I first pulled up to that quiet little street in Costa Adeje – honestly, the address just says “Calle el Beril s/n” which basically means “somewhere on Beril Street” in Spanish. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away from the main tourist madness, which I mean, if you’ve ever been to Costa Adeje in peak season, you’ll appreciate that breathing room. The building itself has that clean, modern apartment-style setup that works so much better than cramped hotel rooms when you’re staying more than a couple nights.
What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually care about getting things right – check-in was smooth, none of that rushed feeling you get at the massive resort chains down the coast. The apartments themselves are properly equipped, like someone actually thought about what travelers need rather than just checking boxes. I’m talking about a kitchen that’s not just for show, decent-sized fridge, and honestly, the beds are way more comfortable than you’d expect from a 3-star place. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in some sterile hotel room. And here’s the thing about the location – you’re close enough to walk to Playa del Duque if you want that postcard-perfect beach experience, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds of tour groups stomping past your window at 7 AM.
The area around El Beril is actually pretty sweet once you get your bearings. There’s this little supermarket about a five-minute walk away where the locals shop (way better prices than the tourist traps), and if you head toward the coast, you’ll hit some of those cliff-top walking paths that give you those Instagram-worthy views without the Instagram-worthy crowds. I spent a few evenings just wandering around the neighborhood, and it’s got that authentic Canary Islands vibe – you know, palm trees swaying, that warm volcanic breeze, the sound of Spanish conversations drifting from apartment balconies. The whole experience feels more… real, I guess? Like you’re actually visiting Spain rather than just occupying some international hotel bubble. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with fancy amenities, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – a clean, comfortable base where you can actually relax and explore the area on your own terms.

We had a wonderful holiday at Apartamentos El Beril Costa Adeje. The staff was so nice and accommodating! Located in a quieter area of costa Adeje between two Five-Star resorts, the location is perfect! Beautiful sandy beaches and supermarkets very close. Thanks for the kid high chair, toilet seat and stool!! Highly recommend, great value !!
