When I first walked into this apartment on Calle del Doctor Ingram, I was expecting maybe a sliver of city glimpse between buildings, but you get this proper panoramic sweep of Puerto de la Cruz that makes you want to grab your coffee and just stand there for a while.

The location is one of those spots where you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something the locals haven’t completely given up to tourism yet. Doctor Ingram street itself is pretty quiet – I mean, you’re not dealing with the chaos down by the main plaza, but you’re close enough that a five-minute walk gets you to all the good stuff. The building feels solid, proper Spanish construction, and Alterhome clearly knows what they’re doing with the setup. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward key-fumbling you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The space itself has that lived-in comfort that makes you settle in immediately – not too precious, not too basic, just right for actually staying somewhere instead of just sleeping there.

What really sold me was how the apartment captures different moods throughout the day. Morning light comes in soft and makes the city look almost sleepy, then by evening you’ve got this warm glow that makes Puerto de la Cruz look like it’s putting on a show just for you. The furnishing feels thoughtful – someone actually considered how you’d use the space, where you’d put your stuff, how you’d move around.   Very good contact with the Host, very easy and quick collection of keys from reception in building foyer.
  The rooms were clean, no smells inside or in the building. Quiet neighbourhood, no noisy restaurants below our windows.
  Great view (Teide and ocean) from the rooftop swimming pool. Very close to main bus station (5 minutes walk).

  Nice, clean and very well equipped apartment. Views on the city and Teide. Located right in the center so everything was close by. No AC, but with balcony doors on opposite sides of the apartment there was enough air circulation to keep it cool.
