This four-star property sits quietly in Puertito de Güímar, and within minutes of settling in, I understood why it’s earned such stellar reviews from guests.

Here’s the thing about Puertito de Güímar — it’s one of those spots that locals know about but tourists often miss. You’re right on the coast with this gorgeous little fishing village vibe, but you’re not dealing with the crowds of the main resort areas. I mean, couples absolutely love it here for good reason — there’s something genuinely romantic about watching the sunset from the nearby harbor. The parking situation is actually fantastic (and free, which is rare these days), so you can easily explore the rest of Tenerife without worrying about your car.

The room — well, it’s really more of a proper apartment — surprised me with how thoughtfully it’s set up. Everything feels fresh and well-maintained, not like some vacation rentals where you’re afraid to touch anything. The kitchen is actually functional too, which I appreciated since local markets in Güímar have some incredible fresh produce and fish. You get that independence of having your own space, but with the reliability of hotel-quality standards.

What Makes It Special

I’ve stayed in plenty of places along Tenerife’s coast, and what struck me about El Burgado was how it manages to feel both secluded and accessible. You’re close enough to hiking trails in the Güímar area — honestly, some of the island’s most underrated walks are right here. The whole setup works particularly well if you want to experience a more authentic side of the Canaries without sacrificing comfort. The staff clearly takes pride in the property, and it shows in those little details that make a difference.

  -Modern, cosy apartment, having everything one can need (toiletries, beach towels, hair dryer, iron and iron board, first aid medical kit, a fully equipped kitchen, Android TV, perfect functioning Wifi, AC, etc). Its located just one minute away from the beach.
  -It was perfect for us a couple who were only on vacation but i think it would be suitable for someone who wants to work remotely and spend longer time there.
  -The host is amazing, very helpful and attentive. We have appreciated the nice welcoming gesture: wine, sweets and fruits.
  -Self check-in and check-out system, very easy and intuitive

  Very clean and well equiped apartment.They had thought of everything. Beach towels a nice touch. Close to beach and short stroll to bars, restaurants and bus stop. Great communication from the owner

  Place is easily accessible with a car. There is a lot of kitchenware. The owner left for us wine, coffee, snacks. Loved the attention. There is a shared pool with neighbors. The beach is really nearby, not the main one (people are coming there with dogs).

  Very clean and modern apartment. Tranquil sorroundings, ideal for couples wishing peace and quiet or remote working. Nice beaches near by.

  Cosy, typically Spanish, clean apartment with everything you could need, fully equipped kitchen with oven, stove top, microwave, sandwich maker, coffee machine and kettle. Large fridge with large freezer, with two complimentary bottles of water and chocolate biscuits. Fab washing machine that can do a 15 min wash and plenty of clothes lines on the balcony to get stuff dry! Bed was very clean with a comfortable mattress, shower and bidet in the bathroom with shower gel and hair shampoo if needed. Very comfortable sofa, which I think was a sofa bed but did not use it, breakfast bar and stools. I loved the sun on the balcony in the afternoons as the sun was there until late, two chairs and a table on the balcony was great to eat outside. Pool was lovely, although it was January, we still swam and laid around the pool on the loungers. Apartment just across the road from the beach and has a side beach view. Plenty of free parking. Great location, very quiet! It's a 10 minute stroll along the promenade to the bars and restaurants! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing.

  Amazing apartment, very well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Tenerife. It was also very clean! Would recommend to anyone. The location is perfect as it's between the north and south, making it easier for day trips and exploring the island. Near the beach, basketball court, grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants…
  We will for sure visit again!

  Posizione ideale per raggiungere le diverse parti dell’isola in macchina.
  Appartamento pulito e dotato di quanto serve (anche se lo abbiamo utilizzato solo per la colazione). Piscina condominiale a disposizione degli ospiti. Complesso condominiale ordinato e pulito così come l’intera cittadina.
  Supermercato Spar a 10 minuti a piedi e bel lungomare pedonale.
