Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment listing with such a long name, but this place on Calle los Sabandeños completely surprised me. You know what hits you first? That terrace – and I mean, they’re not kidding when they say “amplia.” It’s genuinely spacious, not like those tiny balconies most places try to pass off as outdoor space. From the eighth floor, you get this sweeping view of the coast that makes you want to grab your coffee and just… linger. The building itself is pretty typical for Candelaria – one of those modern blocks that actually blend in well with the area – but the location is what really works here.

What I love about staying in this part of Candelaria is that you’re actually living like a local, not stuck in some tourist bubble. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel where you’ll hear families chatting on their balconies in the evenings, and there’s a small supermarket just down the street that becomes your lifeline (trust me, you’ll be there daily). The beach is close enough that you can walk there easily, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the crowds and noise that come with beachfront properties. Parking can be a bit tricky during busy periods – it’s street parking mostly – but honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to move your car much anyway.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, not a sterile rental. I mean, you’ve got proper kitchen space, which is rare in a lot of these places, and everything just… works. The Wi-Fi is solid (I was working remotely part of the time), the shower has decent pressure, and the beds are comfortable – sometimes you don’t realize how important that is until you’re sleeping on some rock-hard mattress elsewhere. What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night. Even being on a main street, once evening hits, it’s peaceful enough that you can sleep with the windows open and just hear the distant sound of the ocean. The whole setup just makes sense for anyone who wants to experience Tenerife without the resort scene – you’re close enough to hit the tourist spots when you want, but you’re also perfectly positioned to explore the real Candelaria, maybe grab dinner at one of those family-run places where the menu is handwritten and nobody speaks much English. It’s that sweet spot between comfort and authenticity that’s honestly pretty hard to find these days.

  El apartamento tenía todo lo necesario para estar totalmente agusto. La cama era súper cómoda. Tiene una terraza maravillosa de la que no hicimos uso por falta de tiempo pero estamos seguros de que hubiéramos estado muy cómodos en ella.
  Teníamos un set de bienvenida de vino blanco, patés de diferentes tipos, mermelada, agua…
  Decir también que el apartamento estaba perfectamente limpio y se disfruta una tranquilidad absoluta.
  Y por supuesto hablar de la amabilidad y buen hacer de Carlos.
  Sin duda esperamos repetir.
