You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually on the ground floor – which sounds boring until you realize you’re not hauling luggage up narrow Spanish staircases after a long flight. The apartment sits on Calle Antonio Saro, and honestly, this street surprised me. It’s residential enough that you’re not dealing with tourist chaos, but you can walk to Santa Cruz’s main bits without breaking a sweat.

The whole setup feels like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. I mean, you’ve got proper space to spread out, and the kitchen actually works (tried making coffee the first morning – success). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. During the day you’ll hear some neighborhood life, but it’s the good kind – kids playing, neighbors chatting, not traffic or drunk tourists. The proximity to Santa Cruz means you can walk to Plaza de España in maybe fifteen minutes, and there’s this little stretch near the port where locals grab their morning coffee that most visitors never find.

Here’s the thing about Tenerife that caught me off guard – you’re close to both the city action and beach time without feeling rushed about either. From this apartment, you can hit Playa de las Teresitas (the one with the golden sand they shipped in from the Sahara, if you’re curious) pretty easily, or just wander through Santa Cruz’s pedestrian areas when you want some urban energy. The location works because you’re not stuck in the tourist quarter where everything’s overpriced and feels manufactured. Instead, you’re in an actual neighborhood where there’s a pharmacy two blocks over and a decent supermarket that doesn’t charge resort prices. Parking can be a bit tricky around here – it’s Spain, so street parking is sort of a creative endeavor – but most of the time you’ll find something within a block or two. The 9.3 rating makes sense once you spend a night here; it’s not fancy, but everything works like it should, and the value feels honest. I’d definitely book this again, especially if I wanted to explore more of the island beyond just the southern resort areas.

  Inmejorable!!! Lo recomiendo totalmente, el apartamento esta suuuuper equipado con cosas básicas que no se suelen encontrar en otros apartamentos (toallas playa, sombrilla, un botiquín, sandwichera, tostadora, aceite, sal, vinagre, infusiones, té, café, azúcar, agua, etc….) a parte de esto el apto se encuentra en un lugar super tranquilo pero en 2 minutos a pie tienes una parada de bus que te deja en 5 minutos en La playa de Las Teresitas o en el centro de Santa Cruz y justo delante una zona de baño muy chula. Muchisimas gracias al dueño por ser tan atento, sin duda volveria a repetir!!
