Anchieta 60 Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Anchieta 60 for the first time, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star boutique property tucked away on a quiet street in La Laguna. The building itself has this understated elegance — you know, the kind of place that doesn’t need to shout about how special it is. What immediately caught my attention was how peaceful everything felt, despite being right in the heart of this UNESCO World Heritage city. The staff greeted me like I was an old friend, which set the tone for what turned out to be a really memorable stay.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about La Laguna that most people don’t realize until they’re actually walking around — it’s got this incredible energy that shifts throughout the day. In the morning, you’ll see locals heading to the market, university students grabbing coffee, and by evening the whole historic center comes alive with that distinctly Canarian buzz. From Anchieta 60, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the cathedral and all those gorgeous colonial buildings with their wooden balconies. I mean, couples absolutely love this spot (they rate the location 9.8, which honestly makes perfect sense), but it works just as well if you’re traveling solo and want to explore on foot.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was — well, let me put it this way — I actually looked forward to going back each evening. The beds here are something special, and I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses when I travel. Everything felt thoughtfully designed without being fussy, if that makes sense. The windows opened onto the street, and there’s something really charming about hearing the gentle sounds of daily life in La Laguna filtering up. You get modern amenities without losing that authentic Canarian character, which is honestly harder to pull off than most hotels realize.
Practical Perks
One thing that really stood out — and this might sound boring but trust me, it matters — is the parking situation. Finding a spot in historic La Laguna can be absolutely maddening, but Anchieta 60 has free private parking right on site. It’s one of those details that transforms your entire experience from potentially stressful to completely relaxed. The property also handles all the little things well, like reliable WiFi and helpful local recommendations that go beyond the usual tourist spots. Sometimes it’s these practical touches that make or break a stay, you know?
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back here (and talking about it afterward) is how the hotel manages to feel both polished and genuinely welcoming. The 9.3 overall rating isn’t just numbers — you can feel it in how smoothly everything runs and how comfortable you become within hours of checking in. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay if you can, not because there’s some flashy amenity, but because it just feels right. Whether you’re using it as a base for exploring Tenerife or you want to really soak up La Laguna’s unique atmosphere, this spot delivers exactly what it promises.

Location very close to the airport. Parking reservations!

Very comfortable. Absolutely spotless. Very quiet too. Everything we needed was there for us to use. Very well maintained and our host was extremely polite and helpful. Kept in constant contact and was waiting for us when we arrived.
We had the ground floor flat which is situated in a residential area. Everything is nearby and we couldn’t have picked a better area. Trams is a 10 min walk and bus station was about 20 min walk.
Area is buzzing and clean. Lots of restaurants nearby. Locals are friendly and polite.Richard from United Kingdom (8/10)
Good location with handy parking on-site. The ground floor apartment was very spacious. Staff were quick and informative via booking.com. The beds were very comfortable.
Although not particularly sound-proof, other guests were quiet between 11pm and 8am when we stayed..
Very little natural light in our courtyard-facing flat.
The soap dispensers in the shower were both empty, which was annoying. They weren't particularly apologetic or keen to replace them straight away, so we could have our morning shower either.Jp from Canada (9/10)
Conveniently located in old town. Very quiet apartment with all amenities required

Awesome location near the old city center of La Laguna. We got the luxury apartment which is a beautiful historic apartment on the second floor, very well renovated and with all the essentials. We also had private parking available which was a great advantage since parking in the area was very tricky.

Spacious appartment, clean, nicely decorated, comfy beds, big storage space. Quite location in the city centre, just next the pedestrian zone with plenty of sights and dining options. The parking spot is a big benefit. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a great stay! Thank you!

Excellent location in the old town of La Laguna, yet on a quiet street. The apartment is huge, with very comfortable and large beds. The contact with the staff was excellent! A great amenity was the private parking.

Daniel answered the phone as soon as we called and was very helpful. He came out to the car and gave us directions to the secure parking.
Very clean with loads of space and very quiet. Nice kitchen with good range of utensils and crockery. Even 2 types of coffer maker! Great showers. Beds ok. Good location for old town, lots to see within walking distance. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Easy drive to Anaga national park and Santa Cruz.Lucy from United Kingdom (10/10)
