You know what caught me off guard about the Anayed Garden apartment? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street – Calle Roque del Salmor – that honestly feels like you’ve stumbled into where the locals actually live, not some tourist bubble. I mean, you’re still in Adeje, so you’ve got all the southern Tenerife perks, but there’s something refreshing about waking up to the sound of neighbors going about their morning routines instead of pool parties at 7 AM.

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a one-bedroom place. The garden aspect isn’t just marketing fluff either – there’s actually this lovely little outdoor space where you can sit with your morning coffee and pretend you’re a temporary resident instead of just passing through. The kitchen’s properly equipped too, which I appreciated since eating out every meal in the Canaries can get expensive fast (and honestly, the local markets have incredible produce if you’re into that sort of thing). What really struck me was how clean everything felt – not just surface-level hotel clean, but like someone actually cares about maintaining the place. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t spend the first night adjusting to weird lumps, and the bathroom had decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve traveled around Spain’s islands, you know that’s not always a given.

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute walk from the main Costa Adeje action, but that’s actually perfect. Close enough that you can easily get to the beaches and restaurants, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of vacation chaos. There’s a little supermarket just a few streets over that the locals use – much better prices than the tourist shops down by the water. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (July and August get pretty packed), but the neighborhood streets usually have spots if you’re willing to walk a block or two. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the bedroom, though it worked fine in the living area – not a deal-breaker unless you’re planning to work from bed. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works, you know? Nothing flashy, but everything you need, and that 9-star rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s the kind of spot where you actually feel like you’re experiencing a bit of real Canarian life instead of just bouncing between hotel pools and tourist restaurants.

  The terraces are nice and the pool too especially if you have children. You can walk to the beach or the shopping area in el Duque.
  It is very quiet at night which is a big plus for a family with small children
  
  What could be improved: Our flight was delayed one hour and we had to wait longer than expected to pick up the rental car which pushed our arrival time to 22:30 vs the original expected time 21:00. We were charged 20 euros for late check-in (after 22:00).
  There is an outdoor gym in front of the backyard and they play very loud music a few times a day (day hours). It is a bit annoying if you are seating outside.

  Residencia muy tranquila, la piscina increíble no había mucha gente la cama súper cómoda cocina con todo utensilios para el día a día lo único por ponerle una pega no tienen cafetera la chica que nos recibió muy correcta todo genial
