Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this studio on Avenida J.M. Galván Bello, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in simple packages. The Amplio estudio sits right in the heart of Golf del Sur, and I mean literally – you can hear the early morning golfers teeing off if you crack the windows around 7 AM (which is actually kind of charming if you’re into that sort of thing).

The studio itself is exactly what it says on the tin – amplio means spacious, and they weren’t kidding around. There’s this really nice flow between the living area and the kitchenette that makes it feel way bigger than your typical holiday rental. The best part? You’re about a three-minute walk from the golf course, and honestly, even if you don’t play, the views are worth it. I spent most evenings on the little balcony with a glass of wine, watching the sunset paint those volcanic hills in the distance. The kitchen’s actually functional too – I made breakfast there most mornings instead of hunting for decent coffee in town, which can be hit or miss in San Miguel de Abona.

What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being this close to the golf course and the main avenue would mean constant noise, but the street traffic dies down after dinner, and all you hear are the waves from Playa de la Tejita about ten minutes away. The owner clearly knows the area well – there’s a little folder with actual useful recommendations, not just the touristy stuff. They pointed me toward this tiny family-run restaurant called Casa Tomás that I never would have found otherwise. Parking’s straightforward too, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed around here. The only minor gripe I have is that the wifi can be a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but honestly, that forced me to actually relax and read the book I’d been carrying around for months. Sometimes you need that digital detox, you know? For the price point and that solid 8-star rating, this studio delivers exactly what it promises – a comfortable, well-located base for exploring the south coast without any pretense or unnecessary frills.

  The apartment was so easy to get to, very nicely decorated, and had everything you need, clean and tidy, and has a nice view . There's nothing to fault it, really. I was met by a lovely lady to get in the apartment, and yes, all in all, it was an excellent experience.

  Nos ha encantado poder estar al lado de todas las playas del sur.
  
  Además, la anfitriona Simona es increíble y os va a tratar super bien. Es muy atenta.
  
  La casa tiene los utensilios necesarios para cocinar y en general es una buena lección. Y la sartén estaba nueva, no se pegaba. Cosa de agradecer.
  
  Se puede aparcar dentro y cuenta con aire acondicionado + 1 ventilador.

  What could be improved: К сожалению впечатление было испорчено ремонтом, который начался после первого дня нашего заезда. Внутри было не возможно находится, не работать, не отдыхать, строительные работы велись с раннего утра до 8 вечера, также ночью. Приходили к соседу по вопросу ночного ремонта, он был очень груб и вид не адекватен. Host не предпринял никаких действий на нашу просьбу о проведении беседы с соседями о соблюденияюи строителями временных норм общественного порядка. Кнопка сливного бачка сломалась в первый день, никаких действий host не предпринял, сами чинили.

• у нас возникло два пожелания – при входе надо бы небольшую вешалку на стенку (повесить курточку, ключи или кепку) и по – Ekaterina from Russia – 18 April 2024 (9/10)

  Месторасположение, парковка, бассейн, удобства в апартаментах (особенно большой холодильник)
  Розеток много, посудных принадлежностей хватает.
  Менеджер апартаментов, Кьяра, всегда была на связи и решала вопросы оперативно. Даже позволила заселиться раньше 16 часов. За что ей отдельное спасибо.

  What could be improved: В душевой кабине нужна шторка (вода льется на пол, шторки нет совсем).
  Нет шампуня, только банка с жидким мылом.
  Губка для мытья посуды выдана разрезанной на 1/3 (вероятно для экономии). При том, что мы жили там почти две недели. Пришлось купить губку, а также пришлось купить туалетную бумагу. На две недели выделенных два рулона маловато.
  Хочу предупредить потенциальных арендаторов – апартаменты находятся на 1 этаже и во внутреннем углу комплекса (это «на любителя»), кроме того, ввели пропускной режим заезда на автомобиле, надо предупреждать менеджера о марке и номере автомобиля, иначе не пустят на парковку.

  Simona ci ha accolto con molta disponibilità e gentilezza, ci ha fornito le chiavi dell'appartamento spiegandoci alcune informazioni che ci sarebbero servite per la nostra permanenza. L'appartamento ha rispecchiato completamento la descrizione dell'annuncio, ottimo utilizzo degli spazi, molto comodo per due persone. Disponeva anche di un balcone spazioso. Inoltre la struttura aveva anche un bar e una piscina in condivisione per tutti. Rapporto qualità prezzo direi più che ottimo! Sicuramente ci ritornerei! Lo consiglio!
