You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound like some massive resort complex, but it’s actually this perfectly sized apartment tucked right into the heart of Las Américas – and I mean that in the best possible way. Walking up Calle Noelia Afonso Cabrera (locals just call it “the quiet street behind the main drag”), you’d never guess you’re literally a three-minute walk from all the beachfront chaos. The building itself is one of those newer constructions that somehow manages to block out most of the street noise, which honestly is half the battle in this part of Tenerife.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room – there’s proper counter space in the kitchen, decent water pressure in the shower, and thank god, blackout curtains that actually work. I mean, if you’ve stayed in budget places around here before, you know how rare that combination is. The “adults only” thing isn’t just marketing speak either; it genuinely creates this calm atmosphere where you can actually sleep past 7 AM without kids running around the hallways. The décor is simple but thoughtful – sort of modern Mediterranean without trying too hard, if that makes sense. What really sold me was the balcony setup; it’s not huge, but it catches this nice cross-breeze in the evenings, and you can actually see a sliver of ocean if you lean just right (though honestly, the people-watching down on the street is more entertaining).

Location-wise, this is where the place really shines. You’re close enough to Playa de las Américas that you can stumble back from the bars without needing a taxi, but far enough up the hill that you escape the worst of the tourist madness. There’s this little Mercadona about two blocks away where you can grab groceries without the beach markup, and honestly, having a proper kitchen means you can save a ton of money on meals. The walk down to the main strip takes maybe five minutes, but coming back uphill after a few drinks… well, let’s just say it’s good motivation to pace yourself. Parking can be tricky during peak season – the building has a few spots but they fill up fast, so if you’re renting a car, factor that in. The host was actually pretty responsive when I had questions, which seems to be hit-or-miss with apartment rentals around here. For the price point and that 8.8 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, quiet base where you can recharge between beach days without feeling like you’re missing out on the action.

  The bed was comfortable, and we could also access the rooftop and pool area that is connected to the Coral California hotel. 10/10 will recommend.

  Only good things to say. Alex was a great host and accommodating to my time. The apartment was perfect, very clean, nicely furnished and in a great location. Pool and rooftop around the corner, beach close by. When I go back I will definitely be looking to stay here again.

  What could be improved: Parking was inside the hotel premises (gate with kind of secure access and cameras), but I found my car smashed and they were not very helpful to check on the cameras what happened, need to go to police for this to fill in a report and not sure how long will that takes to get a response.
