You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name literally translates to “cozy studio with pool and near the beach” – and honestly, they weren’t kidding around. I mean, sometimes these Spanish apartment names are pure wishful thinking, but this little studio on Calle Hermanos Fernandez Perdigon actually delivers on its promises.

The location is sort of perfect if you know Puerto de la Cruz at all. You’re tucked away on this quiet residential street (thank god, because some of the main drags can get pretty rowdy with tourists), but you can still walk to Playa Jardín in maybe ten minutes. The black sand takes some getting used to if you’re expecting typical beach vibes, but there’s something weirdly beautiful about it, especially when the afternoon light hits just right. What I really appreciated was being close enough to the action around Plaza del Charco – you can grab those incredible bocadillos from the little café on the corner, or hit up the weekend market – but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the noise until 2 AM.

The studio itself has that authentic Canarian feel without being too rustic, if that makes sense. The pool area is honestly the star of the show – it’s shared, but never felt crowded when I was there in late spring. Perfect for those moments when the Atlantic is being moody and you still want to get in the water. The apartment has everything you actually need (decent Wi-Fi, surprisingly good water pressure, a kitchen that works), though I’ll be honest, the furnishings are more functional than Instagram-worthy. But here’s the thing – you’re not coming to Puerto de la Cruz to sit inside anyway. The balcony gets morning sun, which is clutch for coffee and planning your day, and you can actually see a sliver of ocean if you crane your neck just right.

Parking was way easier than I expected – there’s usually street parking available, and the locals are pretty chill about it. Check-in was smooth, though my Spanish is terrible and the owner’s English was… well, let’s just say Google Translate got a workout. The building itself is typical Canarian architecture, which I love – those green shutters and the way the light filters through in the afternoon. You can hear the neighborhood coming alive in the mornings, kids heading to school, that sort of authentic daily life that makes you feel less like a tourist.

What really sold me on this place was how it felt like a base camp rather than a resort bubble. You’re living in an actual neighborhood where people go about their real lives, but you’ve got that pool when you need to decompress and the beach when you want to explore. The 8.7 rating makes total sense – it’s not fancy, but it’s genuine, comfortable, and honestly priced fairly for what you get. If you’re the type who wants to experience Puerto de la Cruz like a temporary local rather than a pampered tourist, this studio nails that vibe perfectly.

  Just an amazing place:
  – the location is perfect, 3 minutes walk from the beach, a very quiet place though, beautiful view from the window, a very good swimming pool, we loved it very much

  Jose was waiting for us to give us the keys and showed us the apartment. Carolina was also always available per whatsapp! The apartment was comfortable and pretty clean. We had private parking. That was a big plus. The apartment is very close to the center and to the beach (Playa Jardin). The swimming pool was very nice! Everything was perfect!

  Location is great, just 5 minutes by walk from Playa del Castillo and 12 minute from the main square. Private free parking near home, there are always free places in September. All stuff is available in a flat also washing machine and iron. Every day we ate on the balcony with amazing Teide view)

  La ubicación es excelente, la terminal de guagua a 2 pasos y el centro del Puerto de la Cruz ha 10 min andando, el apartamento muy bonito, el colchón y almohada, supe cómodas. A 10 min andando del Loro Park y de la playa. Apartamento ideal para pareja o con 1 niño. Gracias al anfitrion x sus consejos y ayuda. Repetiría sin dudarlo.
