You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name says “apartamento” but honestly, it feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed flat than some generic vacation rental. I mean, when you’re walking up Calle El Horno – which, by the way, is this quiet residential street that most tourists never find – you’re not expecting much from the outside. But then you step inside and boom, there’s this gorgeous sea view that stretches all the way to La Gomera on clear days.

The apartment itself is actually pretty thoughtfully set up. Someone clearly lives here (or at least understands how people actually live) because all the little things work – the coffee maker isn’t some impossible puzzle, there’s proper lighting for reading, and the shower has decent water pressure. I stayed here in late spring when Adeje gets that perfect weather, and I’d wake up to these incredible sunrises over the ocean. The terrace is where you’ll spend most of your time, honestly – it’s got that southwestern exposure that catches the light just right in the afternoons. You can hear the waves if you listen, though it’s not right on the beach. The 8.9 rating makes sense because while it’s not luxury resort fancy, everything just… works.

What I really appreciated was how it sits in this residential pocket where actual Canarios live. You’ve got a little supermarket about a two-minute walk down the hill, and there’s this local bar – I think it’s called El Rincón – where the old guys play dominoes in the evenings. The beach access is decent too; you can walk down to Playa de Fañabé in maybe fifteen minutes, or if you’re feeling lazy, catch one of those little buses that run along the coast. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (July and August get pretty crazy), but there’s usually something on the side streets if you don’t mind a short walk. The host was responsive when I had questions about the washing machine, which is always a relief when you’re dealing with vacation rental communications. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that rare combination of being comfortable, well-located, and genuinely local without feeling like you’re roughing it.
