You know what struck me first about 927 Amazing View El Dorado? The name actually delivers – and I’m saying this as someone who’s pretty cynical about hotel names that oversell. When you step onto those balconies (and honestly, most rooms have decent ones), you’re looking out over Playa de las Americas in a way that makes you forget you’re staying in what’s basically the Vegas of Tenerife. The hotel sits in this sweet spot where you can see the coastline stretching toward Los Cristianos, but you’re tucked just far enough up from the main strip that you’re not dealing with the drunk British tourists stumbling around at 3 AM – though let’s be real, you’ll still hear some of that energy drifting up on weekend nights.

The thing about this place is it feels like they actually thought about what people want from a four-star experience without going overboard. I mean, the lobby’s got that modern Spanish vibe without being too sterile, and the staff genuinely seemed to know the area when I asked about hiking trails up toward Teide (apparently there’s a bus that stops right at the Teleférico base, which nobody tells you). The rooms are… well, they’re what you’d expect, but the beds are actually comfortable and the AC works properly, which honestly is half the battle in the Canaries during summer. What I appreciated was the little kitchenette setup – nothing fancy, but you can make coffee without that awful instant stuff, and there’s enough fridge space for those amazing local tomatoes you’ll inevitably buy at the Saturday market in Adeje.

Location-wise, you’re about a ten-minute walk down to the beach, which sounds like nothing until you realize it’s uphill on the way back and you’ve been in the sun all day. But here’s the thing – that slight elevation is exactly why the views work, and why you get those gorgeous sunsets that make everyone’s Instagram stories look the same (in the best way). The pool area gets busy around mid-morning when families claim their spots, but I found early evening was perfect for a swim while watching the light change over the water. Parking’s included, which is huge if you’re planning to explore the island properly – and you should, because while Playa de las Americas has its charm, the real Tenerife is in those mountain villages and black sand beaches up north. Overall, it’s one of those places where the 8.6 rating makes sense; not perfect, but it gets the important stuff right and doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not.

  the room is modern. the view is nice.
  
  What could be improved: the property failed to tell us about essential maintenance that was happening to the pool which made it not accessible which was a large part of us choosing this accommodation. major let down which negatively affected our holiday.
  also only 2 towels where provided for 2 guests for 6 night stay, not good.
  staff extremely hard to contact and the woman that gave us the key was an agent who worked for the company who was extremely unhelpful for our situation.

  Nagyon jó helyen fekszik, gyönyörű a kilátás az óceánra. Az apartman tiszta volt és jól felszerelt. A ház medence részlege szuper, még egy büfé is működik lent.
  
  What could be improved: A karcos teflon serpenyőket ideje lenne cserélni, illetve néhány élesebb kés kenyérvágó is jó lenne az apartmanba. Illetve egy tisztasági festés is időszerű lenne lassan.

  L emplacement est top 400 metres de la plages 800 m de rue commercante.
  L appartement a une vue magnifique et a tt le confort necessaire.

  What could be improved: Le bruit de la rue que je trouve normale mais ds l appartement il y a une fenetre en oxcillobatant qui ne se ferme pas et laisse passer encore plus le bruit.
